Schools Clean Up Day is a yearly initiative from Clean Up Australia, a not for profit organisation that is dedicated to raising awareness of environmental issues such as waste and climate change.
Running since 1992, Schools Clean Up Day has inspired school students to take part in Clean Up Australia Day as part of their school community. Last year's event saw more than 2,000 schools register to take part in the event.
